"I've been a fan of Erin's work for a long time. Her unique botanical paintings of native California flora and pollinator species speak to me as a local habitat enthusiast. When I saw her Floral Compass painting, I knew it would be a perfect addition to my studio space. I loved the design and depiction of many flowers that are great hummingbird nectar plants, along with several hummingbird species. It is a complex painting, perfectly executed.
It hangs above the sink where I clean my brushes, and I love looking at it while standing there. It will be a wonderful reminder of California and my garden when I move to New Mexico."

"We are absolutely thrilled with the artwork we purchased from Erin Hunter! The piece is not only beautiful but incredibly detailed - every brushstroke showcases her talent and eye for nuance. It’s become a focal point in our home, and we find ourselves admiring it daily. Erin was a joy to work with - professional, kind, and clearly passionate about her craft. We’re so grateful to own one of her works and can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for something truly special."

"We are so pleased with the 'Mariposa Lily' we purchased from Erin Hunter. Part of the charm of this piece is the backstory. We are interested in California art, and enjoy nature art from the Central Coast area. She is able to capture the essence of every object she paints, whether a flower, plant, or insect. Erin is also our neighbor, and we have had the pleasure of getting to know her on a personal level. She was very easy to work with, and we look forward to seeing new pieces from her in the future."

"When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we asked our friend Erin if we could commission her to design a wedding invitation for us and were so excited when she agreed! While we were obviously familiar with her work, the final product went above and beyond our expectations; she even went so far as to incorporate some native wildflowers that she knew had special meaning to us AND presented the stationery suite to us as our wedding gift! Fast forward a few years later, and she gave us an even more precious gift—the original artwork from those invitations that she designed and painted just for us. It's currently hanging in our home office and every time we look at it, we're not only reminded of our wedding, but of the love and care our dear friend poured into this beautiful piece."

"We chose 'Cobalt Milkweed Beetle and California Milkweed' both because it's a lovely scene, and an essential example of Erin's observant eye and sure brush. While Erin does brilliant butterflies, hummingbirds, and wildflowers, lesser-known plants and animals also shine in her treatment. The contrast of the three main colors is somehow calming and bursting with life at the same time. You can't help but feel the giddiness of the beetles who are mid-meal and the determination of those still in pursuit. There's a lesson there too: the beetles keep the milkweed under control, without harming the plants or their monarch neighbors. Our painting is displayed on top of a vintage trunk in our living room alongside a rotating cast of fresh flowers and favorite candles. It's the first thing we notice when we open the curtains each morning."
